Đau lưng dưới là một tình trạng phổ biến và tốn kém. Có nhiều lựa chọn điều trị cho những người bị đau lưng, nhưng có rất ít dữ liệu về cách cải thiện sự lựa chọn điều trị của bệnh nhân. Nghiên cứu này sẽ kiểm tra các tác động của một gói hỗ trợ quyết định (DSP), được thiết kế để giúp bệnh nhân tìm kiếm sự chăm sóc cho cơn đau lưng có thể đưa ra những lựa chọn điều trị tốt hơn và có thông tin hơn trong một khoa vật lý trị liệu. Gói hỗ trợ sẽ được thiết kế để hỗ trợ cả nhà trị liệu và bệnh nhân. Đầu tiên, cùng với các nhà trị liệu, bệnh nhân và các chuyên gia trong lĩnh vực hỗ trợ quyết định và các công cụ hỗ trợ quyết định, chúng tôi sẽ phát triển gói DSP. Công việc này sẽ bao gồm: một tổng quan tài liệu và bằng chứng; phân tích thứ cấp dữ liệu định tính hiện có; khám phá quan điểm của bệnh nhân thông qua các nhóm tập trung và khám phá quan điểm của các chuyên gia sử dụng kỹ thuật nhóm danh nghĩa và nghiên cứu Delphi.
