Nghiên cứu tác động của việc áp dụng bức xạ cực tím (UV) (UV-C) và paclobutrazol (PBZ) sau thu hoạch đối với thời gian bảo quản và chất lượng của trái ber (Zizyphus mauritiana) đã được thực hiện. Mất mát hấp thu nước sinh lý (PLW) và sự thối rữa ở mức thấp nhất được ghi nhận ở những quả được xử lý bằng bức xạ UV trong 6 giờ + PBZ 5 ppm, trong suốt mười hai ngày lưu trữ. Khi thời gian lưu trữ tăng lên, tổng chất rắn hòa tan (TSS) và tỷ lệ TSS/axit tăng, trong khi độ axit và hàm lượng axit ascorbic trong trái giảm. Hàm lượng axit ascorbic cao nhất (86.19 mg/100 ml nước ép) và tổng chất rắn hòa tan thấp nhất (16.16%) được giữ lại trong những quả được xử lý bằng bức xạ UV trong 6 giờ + PBZ 5 (ppm).
