Radiation induced current in coaxial cables
ICCSC'02. 1st IEEE International Conference on Circuits and Systems for Communications. Proceedings (IEEE Cat. No.02EX605) - Trang 412-415
Tóm tắt
On the basis of the analysis of charge reallocation processes in a coaxial cable stimulated by the activity of gamma-X-rays (GXR), a model of an equivalent current generator is designed. Expressions are obtained for separate components of a current and the calculation of a coefficient of radiation susceptibility of a cable is conducted, depending on energy-angular inhomogeneity acting GXR, constructional features of cable line build up, pressure and composition of gas medium, in which the cable exists. For energies of quantums 50 keV, the value of coefficient of radiation susceptibility of coaxial cable type PK50-7-22 is obtained experimentally. The designed methodology allows the estimation of signal parameters of a radiative origin acting on electronic instrumentation devices.
