AbstractIn an analysis by glow discharge optical spectrometry the relation between the intensity of an optical emission line of an element and its concentration on the surface is exploited for quantitative determination of variations of composition in galvanized coatings and for an estimation of the enrichments on the surface of annealed extra mild steel sheets.
