Tác động bảo vệ của genistein đối với tổn thương ruột do bức xạ ở chuột mang khối u

Xạ trị là phương pháp điều trị phổ biến nhất cho bệnh ung thư, nhưng nó gây ra tác dụng phụ là viêm niêm mạc do tổn thương ruột. Chúng tôi đã khảo sát tác dụng bảo vệ của genistein trên chuột mang khối u sau khi xạ trị bụng bằng cách đánh giá sự chết tế bào và những thay đổi hình thái học của ruột.
Tế bào ung thư đại trực tràng CT26 được tiêm dưới da ở vùng hông của chuột BALB/c để tạo ra khối u. Những chú chuột mang khối u này được điều trị bằng xạ trị bụng với liều 5 và 10 Gy, và được cho genistein với liều 200 mg/kg trọng lượng cơ thể mỗi ngày trong 1 ngày trước khi xạ trị. Những thay đổi trong mô học của ruột được đánh giá sau 12 giờ và 3,5 ngày sau xạ trị. Để đánh giá tác động của điều trị kết hợp lên sự phát triển của khối u, thể tích khối u được xác định tại thời điểm hy sinh trước khi khối u phát triển quá mức.
