Đo Lường Hiệu Suất: Những Thách Thức của Ngày Mai*

Bài viết này chứng minh rằng bối cảnh mà trong đó việc đo lường hiệu suất được sử dụng đang thay đổi. Các câu hỏi chính được đặt ra là: Liệu việc đo lường hiệu suất có sẵn sàng cho bối cảnh mới nổi không? Những khoảng trống nào trong kiến thức của chúng ta còn tồn tại? và Chúng ta cần nghiên cứu những vấn đề nào? Một tổng hợp tài liệu được thực hiện bởi một nhóm các nhà nghiên cứu đa ngành đã vạch ra sự tiến hóa của tài liệu về đo lường hiệu suất và xác định rằng tài liệu này phần lớn tuân theo các xu hướng kinh doanh và toàn cầu mới nổi. Cuộc thảo luận tiếp theo giới thiệu các xu hướng hiện đang nổi lên và dự đoán trong tương lai, đồng thời khám phá cách mà kiến thức hiện tại về đo lường hiệu suất có thể xử lý được bối cảnh mới. Điều này dẫn đến việc xác định các thách thức cụ thể trong việc đo lường hiệu suất trong khuôn khổ hệ thống tổng thể. Hạn chế chính của bài viết là nó bao quát một cơ sở tài liệu rộng lớn mà không phân tích sâu một khía cạnh nào của việc đo lường hiệu suất. Tuy nhiên, điểm yếu này cũng chính là điểm mạnh của bài viết. Điều có thể quan trọng nhất là có nhu cầu tái tư duy cách chúng ta nghiên cứu lĩnh vực đo lường hiệu suất bằng cách áp dụng một cách tiếp cận tổng thể dựa trên hệ thống, nhận ra tính tích hợp và đồng thời của các thách thức mà các thực hành viên và do đó cả lĩnh vực phải đối mặt.
