Đối tượng của nghiên cứu này là ứng dụng một poly (propylene carbonate) diol (PPCD) dựa trên CO2 có trọng lượng phân tử thấp mới trong lĩnh vực keo dán. Keo polyurethane hai thành phần (PPCD-PU) được chế tạo từ PPCD và polymethylene polyphenyl polyisocyanate (PAPI) làm nguyên liệu, và diol propylene carbonate (PCD-EDA) làm vật liệu gia tăng. Các ảnh hưởng của trọng lượng phân tử, hàm lượng liên kết carbonate của PPCD và hàm lượng PCD-EDA đến các tính chất của PPCD-PU cũng được nghiên cứu. Kết quả cho thấy rằng poly (propylene carbonate) diol có trọng lượng phân tử thấp mới dựa trên CO2 có hàm lượng liên kết carbonate cao hơn (35%). PPCD-PU được tổng hợp từ PPCD thể hiện hiệu suất dính tốt, với độ bền cắt dọc đạt 15 MPa. Sự bổ sung PCD-EDA không chỉ cải thiện tính chất kết dính của keo, mà còn giúp keo PPCD-PU đạt được độ bền cắt dọc cao hơn trong thời gian đông cứng ngắn hơn. Khi lượng PCD-EDA là 20 wt.%, độ bền cắt dọc tăng lên 17 MPa, và độ bền cắt dọc tăng đáng kể từ 3.7 lên 10.6 MPa sau khi đông cứng ở 80 °C trong 30 phút. Tỷ lệ hấp thụ nước của màng PPCD-PU khoảng 1.7%, và độ bền cắt dọc hầu như không thay đổi sau 24 giờ ngâm trong nước. Nhiệt độ mất 5%-khối lượng của PPCD-PU là 284 °C, và nhiệt độ chuyển tiếp thủy tinh là 79.3 °C. Tất cả các loại keo polyurethane thu được đều có khả năng chống nhiệt và nước tốt.
