Mục đích

Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu này là đánh giá mối liên hệ giữa nhiều khía cạnh của tài chính bao trùm và phát triển kinh tế của nền kinh tế đang nổi Ấn Độ.

Thiết kế/phương pháp/tiếp cận

Trong nghiên cứu này, các mô hình tự hồi quy vector (VAR) và kiểm định nguyên nhân Granger đã được áp dụng để kiểm tra câu hỏi nghiên cứu chính trong bối cảnh Ấn Độ. Dữ liệu đã được thu thập về các khía cạnh khác nhau của tài chính bao trùm và phát triển kinh tế cho giai đoạn 2004-2013.

Kết quả

Kết quả thực nghiệm và thảo luận cho thấy có mối liên hệ tích cực giữa tăng trưởng kinh tế và các khía cạnh khác nhau của tài chính bao trùm, đặc biệt là độ bao phủ ngân hàng, khả năng tiếp cận dịch vụ ngân hàng và việc sử dụng các dịch vụ ngân hàng dưới dạng tiền gửi. Phân tích nguyên nhân Granger cho thấy có mối quan hệ nguyên nhân hai chiều giữa việc mở rộng địa lý và phát triển kinh tế và mối quan hệ nguyên nhân một chiều giữa số lượng tài khoản tiền gửi/cho vay và tổng sản phẩm quốc nội. Các kết quả thu được ủng hộ các thử nghiệm ngân hàng xã hội tại Ấn Độ với việc làm sâu sắc thêm các cơ sở ngân hàng.
