Viêm khớp dạng thấp (RA) là một bệnh lý viêm khớp tự miễn mãn tính và kháng trị, ảnh hưởng đến nhiều cơ quan. Nhiều phương pháp đã được áp dụng để nghiên cứu rối loạn chức năng nội mô vi mạch, điều này được coi là một thành phần quan trọng của bệnh mạch máu trong RA. Việc thực hiện videocapilloscopy kẽ móng (NVC) đại diện cho một lựa chọn khả thi, vì da là một cửa sổ dễ dàng tiếp cận cho việc đánh giá không xâm lấn và thời gian thực về những bất thường của vi tuần hoàn tinh vi. Mặc dù NVC được sử dụng thường xuyên trong lĩnh vực thấp khớp, đặc biệt là để chẩn đoán hiện tượng Raynaud, nhưng các bằng chứng tích lũy cho thấy nó có vai trò trong việc đánh giá bệnh mạch máu hệ thống liên quan đến các rối loạn thấp khớp tự miễn. Bài báo này nhằm cung cấp một cái nhìn tổng quan về NVC như một công cụ lâm sàng quý giá để đánh giá vi tuần hoàn ngoại biên trong RA. Các nghiên cứu trước đây mô tả mô hình capillaroscopic trong RA đã được tóm tắt, cùng với các mối liên hệ với các đặc điểm liên quan đến bệnh. Hầu hết các báo cáo hiện có chủ yếu tập trung vào việc mô tả các thay đổi hình dạng không đặc hiệu có thể phản ánh tổn thương nội mô trong quá trình tiến triển của bệnh. Tuy nhiên, mô hình chính xác của các thay đổi capillaroscopic cấu trúc và chức năng cũng như ý nghĩa lâm sàng của chúng trong RA vẫn là chủ đề đang được nghiên cứu.
