Tóm tắt
New technologies relying on complex magnetic fields are being explored, resulting in new products and processes. The design phase in these technologies calls for the specifications in the number, placement, and orientation of magnetic sources to meet a set of requirements. These requirements include flux densities and orientations at specific points. For complex field patterns, a synthesis tool may aid the designer in producing an optimal design. This paper reports the research aimed at developing and evaluating new methodologies by which to universally synthesize magnetic designs based on specified field patterns. Such is the combination of an inverse problem coupled with an optimization synthesis to determine the orientation, configuration, and other physical properties of electromagnetic sources leading to a desired magnetic field. This paper briefly describes several methods in synthesis and inverse problems. A new method based on variable field generation is presented and compared.
