Lý thuyết hành vi có kế hoạch đã được sử dụng trong phân tích mô hình đường để điều tra vai trò trung gian liên tiếp của phương pháp giảng dạy và các đặc điểm tính cách (địa điểm kiểm soát, nhu cầu thành công và thái độ khởi nghiệp) trong mối quan hệ giữa chương trình giảng dạy khởi nghiệp và ý định khởi nghiệp của sinh viên đại học tại Ghana. Một công cụ 40 mục được đề xuất đã được sử dụng để đo lường kết quả cho sáu cấu trúc (3 cấu trúc đặc điểm tính cách, chương trình giảng dạy khởi nghiệp, phương pháp giảng dạy và ý định khởi nghiệp) cho 324 người tham gia. Điểm số độ tin cậy hội tụ, phân tán và độ hợp lệ cấu trúc được xem là chấp nhận được cho công cụ này. Phương pháp giảng dạy đã trung gian hoàn toàn các mối quan hệ bậc nhất giữa chương trình giảng dạy khởi nghiệp và từng đặc điểm tính cách. Ba cấu trúc đặc điểm tính cách đã trung gian song song mối quan hệ bậc hai giữa phương pháp giảng dạy và ý định khởi nghiệp. Phương pháp giảng dạy và từng đặc điểm tính cách đã trung gian liên tiếp mối quan hệ giữa chương trình giảng dạy khởi nghiệp và ý định khởi nghiệp. Bằng chứng thực nghiệm này cung cấp cái nhìn sâu sắc vào thiết kế các can thiệp thực tiễn bởi các bên liên quan chính, bao gồm giáo viên khởi nghiệp, để truyền cảm hứng cho sinh viên tham gia vào các hoạt động khởi nghiệp.
