Khám phá các mẫu đồng tác giả trong khoa học xã hội của Việt Nam với các chỉ số mạng cơ bản từ dữ liệu Scopus 2008-2017.

Bối cảnh: Hợp tác là một hiện tượng phổ biến trong giới khoa học Việt Nam; tuy nhiên, những hiểu biết về sự hợp tác khoa học của Việt Nam vẫn còn hạn chế. Mặt khác, việc áp dụng phân tích mạng xã hội trong nghiên cứu hợp tác khoa học đã thu hút được nhiều sự chú ý trên toàn thế giới. Kỹ thuật này có thể được sử dụng để khám phá cộng đồng khoa học Việt Nam. Phương pháp: Bài báo này sử dụng lý thuyết mạng để khám phá các đặc điểm của một mạng lưới gồm 412 nhà khoa học xã hội Việt Nam mà các công trình của họ được lập chỉ mục trong cơ sở dữ liệu Scopus. Hai chỉ số mạng cơ bản, mật độ và hệ số cụm, đã được thu thập, và toàn bộ mạng lưới đã được nghiên cứu so sánh với hai thành phần lớn nhất của nó. Kết quả: Các kết nối trong mạng lưới rất thưa thớt, với mật độ chỉ đạt 0,47%, trong khi hệ số cụm là rất cao (58,64%). Điều này cho thấy việc truyền bá thông tin, kiến thức và chuyên môn trong mạng lưới là không hiệu quả. Thứ hai, sự chênh lệch trong mức độ kết nối giữa các cá nhân cho thấy rằng mạng lưới rất dễ bị tan vỡ nếu một vài nút có kết nối cao bị loại bỏ. Cuối cùng, hai thành phần lớn nhất của mạng lưới được phát hiện có sự khác biệt so với toàn bộ mạng trong các chỉ số và đều được dẫn dắt bởi các nhà nghiên cứu có năng suất và kết nối tốt nhất. Kết luận: Hệ số cụm cao và mật độ thấp dường như liên quan đến việc truyền bá chuyên môn không hiệu quả giữa các nhà khoa học xã hội Việt Nam và do đó dẫn đến sản lượng khoa học thấp. Ngoài ra, mạng lưới còn kém vững chắc, cho thấy tiềm năng của một tầng lớp trí thức ưu tú gồm những cá nhân có sự kết nối tốt, có năng suất và có vai trò xã hội quan trọng.
