Phương pháp

Vào ngày 5 tháng 2 năm 2020, một hội nghị trực tuyến đa chuyên ngành bao gồm các bác sĩ và nhà nghiên cứu Trung Quốc đã được tổ chức và các chiến lược quản lý y tế đối với nhiễm COVID‐19 trong thai kỳ đã được thảo luận.

Hiện tại, không có bằng chứng rõ ràng nào về thời điểm sinh tối ưu, độ an toàn của sinh đường âm đạo, hay liệu sinh mổ có ngăn ngừa sự truyền bệnh theo chiều dọc tại thời điểm sinh hay không; do đó, cách thức sinh và thời điểm sinh nên được cá nhân hóa dựa trên các chỉ định sản khoa và tình trạng mẹ - thai.
