Tác động của estrogen dạng âm đạo và phục hồi chức năng sàn chậu đối với lão hóa đường sinh dục ở phụ nữ mãn kinh

Để đánh giá tác động của sự kết hợp giữa phục hồi chức năng sàn chậu và việc sử dụng estriol âm đạo đối với tình trạng tiểu không kiểm soát do căng thẳng (SUI), teo đường sinh dục và nhiễm trùng đường tiểu tái phát ở phụ nữ mãn kinh. Hai trăm sáu phụ nữ mãn kinh có triệu chứng lão hóa đường sinh dục đã tham gia vào nghiên cứu thử nghiệm lâm sàng ngẫu nhiên có đối chứng này. Bệnh nhân được chia ngẫu nhiên thành hai nhóm, mỗi nhóm gồm 103 phụ nữ. Nhóm điều trị nhận được viên ngậm estriol âm đạo, liều 1 viên (1 mg) một lần mỗi ngày trong 2 tuần, sau đó là 2 viên một lần mỗi tuần trong tổng thời gian 6 tháng như liệu pháp duy trì, cùng với phục hồi chức năng sàn chậu. Nhóm đối chứng chỉ nhận được estriol âm đạo với phác đồ tương tự.
