Tóm tắt

The CISPR has been discussing the calibration methods suitable for determining the free-space value of antenna factor of an EMI measuring antenna. One of the promising methods is the standard antenna method employed on an open-area test site covered with radio wave absorbers. To evaluate the effects of absorbers, theoretical and experimental investigations are performed rigorously on the antenna impedance and antenna factor of an antenna that is placed at various heights above ferrite tiles put on a metal ground plane. These studies show that the use of ferrite tiles is very effective to produce quasi free-space environment at an open area test site for EMI antenna calibration.
