Tóm tắtChúng tôi đã điều tra sự phân bố của antithrombin‐III và glucosylceramide (Glc‐Cer) trong huyết thanh người, lipoprotein huyết thanh và huyết thanh thiếu lipoprotein. Hoạt tính antithrombin III được đo lường bằng các phương pháp sinh hóa và miễn dịch. Glc‐Cer được định lượng bằng sắc ký khí - lỏng (GLC). Huyết thanh toàn phần chứa 145 μg antithrombin III/ml huyết thanh, tất cả đều liên kết với huyết thanh thiếu lipoprotein (d>1.25 g/ml). Trong khi đó, phần lớn, nếu không muốn nói là tất cả, GlcCer huyết thanh đều liên kết với lipoprotein có mật độ thấp (LDL) (d‐1.022–1.055 g/ml) và lipoprotein có mật độ cao (HDL) (d‐1.063–1.25). GlcCer không được tìm thấy trong huyết thanh thiếu lipoprotein. Chúng tôi kết luận rằng GlcCer trên lipoprotein không góp phần vào hoạt tính antithrombin III. Hơn nữa, sự vắng mặt của GlcCer trong huyết thanh thiếu lipoprotein không ảnh hưởng đến hoạt tính antithrombin‐III.
