Mô Hình Phát Triển của Những Trải Nghiệm Khó Khăn Thời Thơ Ấu và Các Triệu Chứng, Suy Nhược Hiện Tại ở Thanh Thiếu Niên Được Giới Thiệu Đến Dịch Vụ Chuyên Biệt Về Chấn Thương

Khi trẻ em bước vào giai đoạn vị thành niên, hầu hết đã trải qua ít nhất một loại khó khăn nghiêm trọng và nhiều trẻ đã chịu đựng nhiều loại khó khăn khác nhau. Tuy nhiên, liệu các mô hình trải nghiệm khó khăn trong thời thơ ấu có nhất quán hay thay đổi qua các giai đoạn phát triển trong thời thơ ấu hay không vẫn chưa được biết đến. Các báo cáo hồi tưởng về những trải nghiệm khó khăn có thể gây chấn thương trong thời thơ ấu ở 3 giai đoạn phát triển khác nhau (thời thơ ấu sớm, từ 0 đến 5 tuổi; thời thơ ấu giữa, từ 6 đến 12 tuổi; và vị thành niên, từ 13 đến 18 tuổi) đã được thu thập từ các thanh thiếu niên (N = 3485) được giới thiệu đến các nhà cung cấp trong Mạng Lưới Ứng Phó Chấn Thương Trẻ Em Quốc Gia (NCTSN) để đánh giá và điều trị tập trung vào chấn thương. Kết quả từ phân tích lớp tiềm ẩn (LCA) cho thấy các mô hình trải nghiệm khó khăn/chấn thương trở nên phức tạp hơn trong giai đoạn thời thơ ấu giữa và vị thành niên so với thời thơ ấu sớm.
