Mô tả hai loài mới của Rhadinorhynchus (Acanthocephala, Rhadinorhynchidae) từ cá biển ở Vịnh Hạ Long, Việt Nam, kèm theo khóa phân loại loài

Hai loài acanthocephalans thuộc chi rhadinorhynchid, Rhadinorhynchus dorsoventrospinosus sp. nov. và Rhadinorhynchus laterospinosus sp. nov. được mô tả từ cá đuôi đỏ, Decapterus kurroides Bleeker, và cá nóc Balistes sp., tương ứng. Các ký chủ được thu thập ở ngoài đảo Cát Bà, Vịnh Hạ Long, Vịnh Bắc Bộ, Việt Nam vào tháng 5 năm 2009. Sự phát hiện này nâng tổng số loài của Rhadinorhynchus Lühe, 1911 lên 38 loài. Mẫu vật của loài thứ nhất được đặc trưng bởi 11–12 hàng móc vòi với 30–31 móc mỗi hàng, gai lưng và gai bụng lớn ở khu vực thân sau, trứng lớn (100 × 20), và lỗ sinh dục phụ ở cả con đực và con cái. Nó còn được đặc trưng bởi nhiều nhân mảnh khối nổi bật trong thành cơ thể. 1 con cái của loài thứ hai có 18 hàng móc vòi với 24 móc mỗi hàng, trứng nhỏ hơn (62 × 17), gai thân bên liên kết các gai ở các khu vực trước và sau, và lỗ sinh dục nữ gần cuối. Các ghi chú về chi Rhadinorhynchus, danh sách các loài không hợp lệ và hợp lệ, cùng với khóa phân loại loài cũng được cung cấp. Raorhynchus Tripathi, 1959 được đề xuất là đồng nghĩa trẻ với Rhadinorhynchus đang chờ sửa đổi về các loài của Raorhynchus.
