Tóm tắt Cấy ghép ốc tai là một thủ tục thông thường cho bệnh nhân bị mất thính lực sâu sensorineural hai bên. Một số báo cáo cho thấy có sự ức chế chứng ù tai như một tác dụng phụ sau khi cấy ghép. Chúng tôi mô tả trường hợp của một người đàn ông 55 tuổi mắc chứng ù tai nặng bên phải do điếc đột ngột bên phải. Nhiều nỗ lực điều trị bao gồm steroid tiêm tĩnh mạch và soi tai với ghép màng nhĩ đã không thành công. Một năm sau khi khởi phát triệu chứng, cấy ghép ốc tai bên phải được thực hiện, dẫn đến việc chấm dứt hoàn toàn chứng ù tai sau khi kích hoạt cấy ghép. Chứng ù tai nặng một bên sau khi điếc đột ngột có thể đại diện cho một chỉ định mới cho cấy ghép ốc tai.
