Osteonekrosen sind eine häufig beobachtete Nebenwirkung bei Patienten mit längerfristiger Cortison- oder Chemotherapie. Ein junger Patient mit einer akuten myeloischen Leukämie (AML) in Vollremission stellt sich mit Schulterschmerzen vor. Wegen einer Hüftkopfnekrose wurde dem Patienten bereits eine Hüft-TEP (-Totalendoprothese) implantiert. In der nachfolgenden Darstellung wird eine Therapiealternative zum Gelenkersatz bei Osteonekrosen am Humeruskopf im Rahmen eines Fallbeispieles vorgestellt.
