Tóm tắt
Synchronous reluctance motor figures of merit have been improved thanks to the technological evolution of the materials its rotor is made of. Other factors, like new control strategies, the developments of power semiconductors and digital electronics have also played an important role in making possible this improvement. Owing to this development, it is now possible to consider this category of motors when thinking of driving loads under variable speeds. The synchronous reluctance machine may be considered as an alternative other than the conventional induction machine if the figures of merit of both the machines are made comparable. The purpose of this work is to study the cage synchronous reluctance machine. Theoretical approach and experiment are considered in the study. Based on the Honsinger equivalent circuit, the balanced synchronous operation under permanent steady state is considered as a particular case. Steady-state operation results from the laboratory are compared to the experimental results. The current and torque experimental characteristics are presented as functions of the machine speed. Dynamic and steady state conditions were considered when obtaining these curves. Theoretical and experimental results showed good agreement so that the machine modeling comprising a cage in its rotor was successfully obtained.
