Các nhà tuyển dụng ngày càng sử dụng mạng xã hội như một cơ chế để sàng lọc các ứng viên tiềm năng. Nghiên cứu này đã xem xét nhận thức của sinh viên đại học về lượng và mức độ thông tin có sẵn cho các nhà tuyển dụng tiềm năng khi sử dụng mạng xã hội. Nghiên cứu đã áp dụng một cuộc khảo sát với sinh viên đại học để xác định lượng thông tin mà họ cảm thấy rằng người khác có thể biết về họ thông qua trang Facebook của họ.
