Tóm tắtBệnh phì đại tuyến tiền liệt lành tính (BPH) rất phổ biến ở nam giới lớn tuổi, ảnh hưởng đến chất lượng cuộc sống, chức năng tình dục và sức khỏe sinh dục, và đã trở thành một gánh nặng toàn cầu quan trọng về bệnh tật. Phẫu thuật cắt bỏ tuyến tiền liệt bằng plasmakinetic qua niệu đạo (TUPKP) là một trong những thủ tục phẫu thuật hàng đầu cho điều trị BPH. Phương pháp này đã được thiết lập tốt trong thực hành lâm sàng với hiệu quả và độ an toàn tốt. Năm 2018, chúng tôi đã phát hành hướng dẫn "Phiên bản Tiêu chuẩn 2018". Tuy nhiên, nhiều chứng cứ trực tiếp mới đã nổi lên và điều này có thể thay đổi một số khuyến nghị trước đây. Thời điểm hiện nay là thời điểm thích hợp để phát triển các hướng dẫn dựa trên chứng cứ mới, do đó chúng tôi đã thành lập một nhóm làm việc gồm các chuyên gia lâm sàng và nhà phương pháp học.
