CENTRAL OBESITY AND ASSOCIATED FACTORS AMONG TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS PATIENTS AT 19-8 HOSPITAL, 2024–2025

Tóm tắt

Mục tiêu: Mô tả tỷ lệ béo phì trung tâm và xác định các yếu tố liên quan ở người bệnh đái tháo đường týp 2 tại Bệnh viện 19-8. Phương pháp: Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang được thực hiện trên 179 người bệnh đái tháo đường týp 2 điều trị nội trú và ngoại trú tại Khoa Nội tiết – Đái tháo đường, từ tháng 11/2024 đến tháng 2/2025. Dữ liệu được thu thập thông qua phỏng vấn, đo nhân trắc, phân tích thành phần cơ thể và xét nghiệm cận lâm sàng. Hồi quy logistic được sử dụng để xác định các yếu tố liên quan. Kết quả: Tỷ lệ béo phì trung tâm theo vòng eo là 68,7%, cao hơn rõ rệt ở nữ so với nam (p < 0,01). Tỷ số tăng vòng eo/vòng mông và vòng eo/chiều cao lần lượt là 81,6% và 89,9%. Tỷ lệ thừa cân – béo phì theo BMI là 60,3%, tuy nhiên chỉ 39,7% người tự nhận mình thừa cân và 52,5% cho biết không có ý định giảm cân. Các yếu tố liên quan đến béo phì trung tâm gồm: giới nữ (cOR = 12,57; 95%CI: 5,25–30,11), tuổi cao (cOR = 2,06; 95%CI: 1,00–4,24), tỷ lệ mỡ cơ thể cao (cOR = 9,70; 95%CI: 4,44–22,30), mỡ nội tạng cao (cOR = 6,49; 95%CI: 3,00–14,06), và thói quen tập thể dục có thiết bị (cOR = 4,50; 95%CI: 1,18–17,21) hoặc không có thiết bị (cOR = 3,75; 95%CI: 1,23–11,45). Kết luận: Béo phì trung tâm vẫn phổ biến ở người bệnh đái tháo đường týp 2, trong khi nhận thức sai lệch về hình thể còn phổ biến. Tư vấn dinh dưỡng cá thể hóa và theo dõi định kỳ là cần thiết để kiểm soát cân nặng, phòng ngừa biến chứng và nâng cao hiệu quả quản lý bệnh.
