Đại dịch Covid-19 đã tạo ra cơ hội để suy nghĩ lại các giả định về giáo dục nói chung và giáo dục đại học nói riêng. Trong bối cảnh cuộc khủng hoảng chung mà đại dịch gây ra, đặc biệt là khi nói đến việc giảng dạy từ xa khẩn cấp (ERT), các nhà giáo dục ở mọi cấp độ và bối cảnh đã trải qua sự cần thiết phải suy ngẫm về vai trò của họ, những cách hỗ trợ các nhiệm vụ học tập của sinh viên và hình ảnh của sinh viên như những người học tự tổ chức, công dân tích cực và những tác nhân xã hội tự chủ. Trong bài viết đầu tiên của Khoa học và Giáo dục Hậu Kỹ thuật số, chúng tôi đã cố gắng tách lọc và chia sẻ một số lời khuyên từ các chuyên gia cho các giảng viên tại các trường đại học để thích ứng với giảng dạy và học tập trực tuyến. Trong bài viết tiếp theo này, chúng tôi tự hỏi: Giờ đây, khi các giảng viên tại các trường đại học đã trải qua phiên bản không được lên kế hoạch và bị ép buộc của Giảng dạy và Học tập Trực tuyến (OLT), kinh nghiệm này có thể giúp chúng ta thu hẹp khoảng cách giữa giảng dạy trực tuyến và giảng dạy trực tiếp trong những năm tới như thế nào? Bốn chuyên gia, cũng là đồng tác giả của bài viết này, đã phỏng vấn với sự nhấn mạnh vào việc sư phạm hóa hơn là số hóa giáo dục đại học, với việc ra quyết định chiến lược nằm ở trung tâm của các thực hành sau đại dịch. Đánh giá tài liệu của chúng tôi về các bài báo được công bố trong năm qua và phân tích câu trả lời của các chuyên gia tiết lộ rằng trải nghiệm ‘bị ép buộc’ giảng dạy bằng công nghệ số như một phần của ERT có thể dần dần nhường chỗ cho việc tích hợp hài hòa các công cụ và phương pháp vật lý và số để hướng tới việc học tích cực, linh hoạt và có ý nghĩa hơn.
