Các bệnh nhân mắc hội chứng viêm bàng quang/đau bàng quang (IC/BPS) thường phải đối mặt với chất lượng cuộc sống kém do cơn đau mãn tính. Trong các nghiên cứu trước đây của chúng tôi, chúng tôi đã xác định rằng tình trạng viêm thần kinh ở sừng lưng tủy sống (SDH) có liên quan đến các cơ chế của viêm bàng quang. Hơn nữa, đã có nghiên cứu chỉ ra rằng yếu tố dinh dưỡng thần kinh có nguồn gốc từ não (BDNF) tham gia vào việc điều chỉnh viêm thần kinh và cơn đau bệnh lý thông qua tín hiệu BDNF-TrkB; tuy nhiên, vai trò của nó trong viêm bàng quang do cyclophosphamide (CYP) gây ra vẫn chưa rõ ràng.
