Viêm là yếu tố điều chỉnh chính việc tổng hợp protein phản ứng C (CRP), đóng vai trò quan trọng trong bệnh tim mạch huyết khối.

Phương pháp

Phân tích hsCRP (high sensitivity C-reactive protein - protein phản ứng C nhạy cảm cao) được thực hiện trên 600 cá nhân được chọn ngẫu nhiên từ nghiên cứu giám sát sentinel trong dân số công nghiệp Ấn Độ (SSIP). Mức hsCRP được đo bằng phương pháp định lượng bằng thử nghiệm đục với bộ kit từ SPINREACT, Tây Ban Nha. Chúng tôi đã phân tích mối liên hệ giữa hsCRP và các yếu tố nguy cơ tim mạch truyền thống trong mẫu phụ này.

Kết quả

Dữ liệu về các yếu tố nguy cơ và mức CRP đầy đủ có sẵn từ 581/600 cá nhân. Một nửa (51.2%) trong số những người tham gia nghiên cứu là nam giới. Tuổi trung bình của nhóm nghiên cứu là 39.2 ± 11.2 năm. Hệ số tương quan Pearson dao động từ 0.12 cho huyết áp tâm thu (SBP) (p = 0.004) đến 0.55 cho chỉ số khối cơ thể (BMI) (p < 0.001). Hệ số hồi quy tuyến tính dao động từ 0.01 cho SBP, PG và TC (p < 0.001) đến 0.55 cho logeTAG (p < 0.001) sau khi điều chỉnh theo tuổi tác, giới tính và trình độ học vấn. Giá trị trung bình của logehsCRP tăng đáng kể (P < 0.001) từ các cá nhân có ≤1 yếu tố nguy cơ (-0.50) đến những cá nhân có ba yếu tố nguy cơ trở lên (0.60). Trong mô hình đa biến, tỷ lệ odds cho CRP cao (CRP ≥ 2.6 mg/dl) chỉ tăng lên đáng kể ở nữ so với nam (1.63, 95% CI; 1.02-2.58), ở những cá nhân thừa cân so với những cá nhân có trọng lượng bình thường (3.90, 95% CI; 2.34-6.44, p < 0.001), và ở những cá nhân béo bụng (1.62, 95% CI; 1.02-2.60, p = 0.04) so với những cá nhân không béo.
