Đau vai (SP) có thể xuất phát từ cả tình trạng cơ xương và nội tạng. Các nhà vật lý trị liệu (PT) có thể gặp các bệnh nhân có bệnh lý đe dọa tính mạng mà có triệu chứng tương tự như đau cơ xương, chẳng hạn như Nhồi máu cơ tim cấp (AMI). Một PT có đào tạo nên có khả năng phân biệt giữa các dấu hiệu và triệu chứng có nguồn gốc từ cơ xương hoặc nội tạng để thực hiện việc chuyển gửi y tế đúng cách.

Trình bày trường hợp

Một nam giới 46 tuổi có triệu chứng đau vai cấp tính kéo dài một tuần được chẩn đoán mắc hội chứng đau cơ xương vai phải, qua hai lần kiểm tra liên tiếp của các bác sĩ tại khoa cấp cứu. Tuy nhiên, sau khi cảm nhận sự chuyển dịch của cơn đau sang phía bên trái, bệnh nhân đã đến gặp PT. PT đã nhận ra các dấu hiệu và triệu chứng của cơn đau nội tạng và đã chuyển gửi bệnh nhân đến bác sĩ đa khoa, người đã xác định được bệnh tim. Chẩn đoán cuối cùng là nhồi máu cơ tim cấp.

Kết luận

Báo cáo trường hợp này nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của việc kiểm tra sàng lọc bệnh nhân một cách kỹ lưỡng, đặc biệt là đối với những bệnh nhân điều trị tại cơ sở ngoại trú, điều này giúp phân biệt giữa các dấu hiệu và triệu chứng của bệnh cơ xương và bệnh nội tạng.
