Mục tiêu: Mục tiêu của tổng quan hệ thống này là đánh giá tỷ lệ sống sót của các ghép và implant được đặt với kỹ thuật nâng sàn xoang.

Nguyên liệu và Phương pháp: Một tìm kiếm điện tử đã được thực hiện để xác định các nghiên cứu về nâng sàn xoang, với thời gian theo dõi trung bình ít nhất 1 năm sau khi tải chức năng.

Kết quả: Cuộc tìm kiếm cung cấp 839 tiêu đề. Phân tích toàn văn được thực hiện cho 175 bài báo dẫn đến 48 nghiên cứu đáp ứng các tiêu chí bao gồm, báo cáo về 12.020 implant. Phân tích tổng hợp cho thấy tỷ lệ thất bại hàng năm được ước tính là 3,48% [Khoảng tin cậy 95% (CI): 2,48%–4,88%], dẫn đến tỷ lệ sống sót của implant sau 3 năm là 90,1% (95% CI: 86,4%–92,8%). Tuy nhiên, khi tỷ lệ thất bại được phân tích theo từng đối tượng, tỷ lệ thất bại hàng năm ước tính là 6,04% (95% CI: 3,87%–9,43%) dẫn đến 16,6% (95% CI: 10,9%–24,6%) các đối tượng trải qua mất implant trong 3 năm.

Kết luận: Việc cấy ghép implant nha khoa kết hợp với nâng sàn xoang hàm là một phương pháp điều trị có thể dự đoán, cho thấy tỷ lệ sống sót của implant cao và tần suất biến chứng phẫu thuật thấp.

Kết quả tốt nhất (tỷ lệ sống sót của implant 98,3% sau 3 năm) đạt được khi sử dụng các implant có bề mặt thô với lớp màng che đậy cửa sổ bên.
