Integrating Educational Software into the Teaching of Historical Topics in Private Secondary Schools in Hanoi

In the context of educational reform amidst global integration, the application of information technology in teaching has become increasingly essential. This paper proposes several strategies for integrating educational software into the teaching of historical topics in private secondary schools in Hanoi. The study draws on feedback from 20 teachers and 873 secondary school students from selected private schools in Hanoi who participated in lessons using educational software. Findings indicate that the effective use of such software must align with the specific conditions and resources of each school. The proposed strategies not only enhance student engagement and improve the quality of history instruction, but also contribute to the comprehensive development of student competencies in line with the strategic goals of these educational institutions.
