Abstract A face-centred central composite experimental design scheme was used to
find experimental conditions this would result in producing magnetic bleached
teawaste (MBTW) adsorbent material to have the optimum hexavalent chromium
(Cr(VI)) removal capacity. The effect of treatment conditions, namely
temperature (200 °C, 350 °C, 500 °C), duration of the heat treatment (2 h, 3 h,
4 h), the concen... hiện toàn bộ

One of the most important aspects in water supply management is supply security.
In this article a methodology is introduced to first identify vulnerable sites
of a water supply system (WSS) and second to estimate the potential effect of
alpine natural hazards on this system. The approach serves for the definition of
zones with low, medium and high potential risk by combining vulnerability and
haz... hiện toàn bộ
Proper operation of activated sludge systems is very important and depends on
physical, chemical, and biological parameters of wastewater. In this study, some
problems were studied in an existing wastewater treatment plant of a
fish-canning factory located in Tehran where thick, brown, stable foam was
observed in aeration and clarifier tanks. The effluent of this plant was higher
than the standard... hiện toàn bộ

Abstract This paper aims to understand the general background of groundwater
quality that must be considered for the 'smart city' planning of Surat city.
Twenty-Six water samples collected from bore wells of the city were analyzed.
The results showed that water is alkaline, as pH varies from 7.6 to 9.2. The
concentration of Cl− and Na+ are correlated with EC. The highest levels of Cl−
and Na+ are ... hiện toàn bộ
