The copolymers containing carbazole unit and iridium complexes, such as
(Ir(bpy)2Cl, Ir(mbpy)2Cl and Ir(Brbpy)2Cl, were synthesized via radical
copolymerization of N-vinylcarbazole, methyl methacrylate and iridium complex.
The synthesized copolymers were characterized by FT-IR, UV-Vis absorption

AA 2024 alloy has been melted and cast in a permanent cast iron mould in the
form of 18 mm Φ fingers. The synthesis of AA2024 alloy − 5wt.% fly ash composite
was made by stir cast technique. A uniform distribution of fly ash particles in
the matrix phase was obtained. Good bonding between the matrix and reinforcement

NiFe2O4-PVDF composites in different ratios (10 %, 30 % and 50 %) were prepared
in two steps. Firstly, fine nanosized NiFe2O4 powder was synthesized using the
precursor solution method. Then the composites were made by hot-press technique.
The presence of both the phases (ceramic and polymer) was confirmed by XRD
micrographs. The average particle size of the composites varied from 18–23 nm.
