Disturbing forces responsible for the actual figure of pallasStudia Geophysica et Geodaetica - Tập 37 - Trang 326-330 - 1993
M. Burša
The tri-axial figure of the asteroid 2 Pallas poses the question of the origin
of this phenomenon. The tidal-forming potential and rotational disturbances may
be fully responsible for it. However, this hypothesis requires Pallas to be a
primordial satellite orbiting the hypothetical central body synchronously, i.e.
in 1/1 orbital/rotational resonance; its mean motion has been estimated.
Scale factor for lengths of the geopotential modelStudia Geophysica et Geodaetica - Tập 18 - Trang 298-303 - 1974
Milan Burša
Using the data in[1], the scale factor for lengths is derived of the
geopotential model R0=GM/W0 (W0 is the potential on a generalized geoid). The
resulting value, R0==6 363 672.9 m, which is2 m less than the original value[5],
is practically the same as that in[6].
Minimum 1D Velocity Model from Local Earthquake Data in the Provence Region, South-Eastern FranceStudia Geophysica et Geodaetica - Tập 48 - Trang 731-740 - 2004
R. Raffaele, J.P. Fourno, S. Gresta
We computed a one-dimensional (1D) velocity model and station corrections
refering to the Provence region (South-eastern France) by inverting P-wave
arrival times recorded on an eight-station local seismic network. Using this
velocity model and the program HYPOELLIPSE (Lahr, 1989), we relocated a set of
108 local events. The quality comparison between previous earthquake locations
and new relocate... hiện toàn bộ
Climate Change from Meteorological Observations and Underground Temperatures in Northern ItalyStudia Geophysica et Geodaetica - Tập 42 - Trang 30-40 - 1998
V. Pasquale, M. Verdoya, P. Chiozzi
The change in the air temperature recorded at the Genoa University observatory
over 155 years followed the change in the wind direction. A warming occurred
both from 1838 to 1869 and from 1890 to 1950. The latter warm period was
followed by a cooling in the 1950s, when the lowest mean annual temperature
occurred. Generally, a warm period corresponds to a growth in the southern
components of the gr... hiện toàn bộ
A possible relation between geomagnetic activity and winter air surface temperatures in PragueStudia Geophysica et Geodaetica - Tập 36 - Trang 329-337 - 1992
Josef Pýcha, Pavel Hejda, Josef Bochníček
A possible relation between the 10-day geomagnetic activity, solar activity and
temperatures as measured at the meteorological station Prague - Klementinum in
1932–1975 was sought. It was found that: 1) ΣKp correlates with the surface
temperature in Prague substantially better than Wolf's number R. 2) The
correlation between ΣKp and the surface air temperature is not very close, but
is significant... hiện toàn bộ
A computational complexity analysis of Tienstra’s solution to equality-constrained adjustmentStudia Geophysica et Geodaetica - Tập 61 - Trang 601-615 - 2017
Yun Shi, Peiliang Xu, Junhuan Peng
Tienstra’s method was developed to solve parameter adjustment with linear
equality constraints, which has been otherwise often carried out by directly
applying the conventional (or standard) method of Lagrange multipliers to
quadratic optimization problems with a positive definite matrix. We analyze the
computational complexity of the celebrated Tienstra’s method and compare it with
that of the me... hiện toàn bộ
