Geochemistry of anorthositic xenolith and host tholeiite basalt from Jeju Island, South KoreaSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 18 - Trang 125-135 - 2013
Seol Baek, Sung Hi Choi, Seung-Gu Lee, Seung Ryeol Lee, Hyo Min Lee
Volcanic rocks on Jeju Island consist mainly of intraplate alkaline lavas with
subordinate intercalated tholeiite basaltic rocks. The alkaline suite can be
divided into high-Al alkali (HAA) and low-Al alkali (LAA) sub-suites. We
determined the 87Sr/86Sr ratios of anorthositic xenolith plagioclases and the
Sr-Nd-Pb isotope compositions of the host tholeiite basalt (Taeheungri basalt).
The anorthosi... hiện toàn bộ
LiDARHub: a free and open source software platform for web-based management, visualization and analysis of LiDAR dataSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 19 - Trang 741-749 - 2015
Jinha Jung, Bryan C. Pijanowski
LiDAR is an active remote sensing technique with a unique capability to capture
three-dimensional information of the earth’s surface even in heavily vegetated
areas, and it is proven to be useful in many research applications. Although it
is becoming the remote sensing platform of choice for planning and natural
resource agencies that require three-dimensional information, the enormous data
that a... hiện toàn bộ
Impact of Shewanella oneidensis on heavy metals remobilization under reductive conditions in soil of Guilan Province, IranSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 22 - Trang 423-432 - 2018
Nasrin Ghorbanzadeh, Rahul Kumar, Sang-hun Lee, Hyun-Sung Park, Byong-Hun Jeon
Remobilization of heavy metals in contaminated soil due to anaerobic
bioreduction by Shewanella oneidensis was studied. Glucose and
anthraquinone-2,6-disulphonate (AQDS) were used as an electron donor and an
electron shuttle, respectively. The bioreduction caused a gradual increase in
dissolved Mn(II) concentration upto 15 days followed by stationary state. The
aqueous Fe(II) concentration increas... hiện toàn bộ
Hydrogeochemical characteristics of groundwater influenced by reclamation, seawater intrusion, and land use in the coastal area of Yeonggwang, KoreaSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 23 - Trang 603-619 - 2019
Rak-Hyeon Kim, Ji-Hoon Kim, Jong-Sik Ryu, Dong-Chan Koh
The coastal line of Yeonggwang, South Korea, has been continuously changed by
reclamation of tidal land to expand the residential and agricultural area, which
is critical factor to understand the regional hydrogeochemistry in this area. In
this study, we investigate the major factor to influence on the hydrogeochemical
characteristics of groundwater in the reclaimed coastal area. Groundwaters from... hiện toàn bộ
Taxonomic revisions of Upper Cambrian Granatodontus Chen et Gong, 1986 of the Dasytodus Lineage (Conodonta)Springer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 12 - Trang 227-231 - 2008
Byung-Su Lee
The Upper Cambrian conodont taxa of the Dasytodontus Lineage is particularly
useful to divide strata near Cambrian-Ordovician boundary. This lineage known
only in Korea, China and Australia include many coniform paraconodonts and
euconodonts with granulose, spinose or nodose ornaments, comprising
Granatodontus Chen et Gong, 1986. The generic and specific concepts of
Granatodontus are reviewed here... hiện toàn bộ
Variation of the summer low SST area in the southwestern coast of KoreaSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 18 - Trang 231-239 - 2013
KiRyong Kang, Sang-Ryong Lee
Variation of the low sea surface temperature (LSST) area in the southwestern
coast of was analyzed using the daily satellite-observed sea surface temperature
data in 2005. The harmonic fitting method was used to separate the long-term
variation (= annual + semi-annual components) from the raw data at each grid
point, and the residual was estimated by subtracting the longterm component.

Fluid inclusions of the Ilkwang Cu−W-bearing breccia-pipe deposit, Kyongsang BasinSpringer Science and Business Media LLC - Tập 2 - Trang 15-25 - 1998
Kyounghee Yang, Jaeyeong Lee
The copper-tungsten mineralization of Ilkwang mine, Kyongsang Basin was
associated with crystallization of a small stock of granodiorite and quartz
monzonite, explosive brecciation, and exsolution of magmatic hydrothermal
fluids. Fluid inclusions in quartz phenocrysts of granitic rocks and
hydrothermal quartz in breccia matrix trapped aqueous fluids that had caused
brecciation and precipitation of... hiện toàn bộ
