Cl-bearing lizardite in metamorphosed kimberlites from the Udachnaya Vostochnaya Pipe, YakutiaPetrology - Tập 18 - Trang 126-130 - 2010
E. L. Sokolova, E. M. Spiridonov, S. A. Vorob’ev
Anhydrite-bearing dolomites and kimberlites from the contact zone of the
Udachnaya Vostochnaya pipe, northern part of the Eastern Siberian Platform, were
affected by low-grade metamorphism to the zeolite facies. The kimberlites are
serpentinized and carbonatized and contain metasomes of anhydrite and saponite
pockets. Twenty lizardite pseudomorphs after olivine (Fo 91–82) in the
kimberlites were e... hiện toàn bộ
Conditions of Formation of Layered Intrusions of the Monchegorsk Magmatic ClusterPetrology - Tập 30 - Trang 369-391 - 2022
V. S. Semenov, O. V. Kazanov, S. I. Korneev, E. B. Salnikova, S. V. Semenov
The paper presents geochronological data and results of petrological modeling of
the Monchegorsk and Monchetundra layered massifs. The U-Pb ID-TIMS zircon dating
of norite from the marginal zone of Mt. Nittis yielded 2506 ± 7 Ma, which
coincides with previous data on similar rocks from other areas. Based on the
comparison of sections of the Monchegorsk and Kivakka massifs, the pre-erosion
thicknes... hiện toàn bộ
Neoproterozoic Volhynia-Brest magmatic province in the western East European craton: Within-plate magmatism in an ancient suture zonePetrology - Tập 16 - Trang 105-135 - 2011
A. A. Nosova, O. F. Kuz’menkova, N. V. Veretennikov, L. G. Petrova, L. K. Levsky
The reasons for the isotopic and geochemical heterogeneity of magmatism of the
Neoproterozoic large Volhynia-Brest igneous province (VBP) are considered. The
province was formed at 550 Ma in response to the break up of the Rodinia
supercontinent and extends along the western margin of the East European craton,
being discordant to the Paleoproterozoic mobile zone that separates Sarmatia and
Fennosc... hiện toàn bộ
Petrographic code of RussiaPetrology - Tập 18 - Trang 649-656 - 2010

The Petrographic Code of Russia is a body of major rules and recommendations
that establish a unified and standardized petrographic terminology and
nomenclature for endogenic and impact rocks and the taxonomy of petrographic
units. The single system of terms and concepts underlying the petrographic code
shall be obligatory for all departments and organizations in conducting
geological operations i... hiện toàn bộ
K-Ar dating of quaternary volcanics: Methodology and interpretation of resultsPetrology - Tập 14 - Trang 62-80 - 2006
I. V. Chernyshev, V. A. Lebedev, M. M. Arakelyants
The K-Ar method and its modifications play a unique role in the geochronology of
young volcanic rocks, which has important fundamental and economic aspects. This
method provides an opportunity for dating Quaternary rocks, from the oldest (1–2
Ma) to the most recent ones (<30 ka). This paper discusses physical and
geochemical prerequisites for the use of the K-Ar method in the solution of this
prob... hiện toàn bộ
Subduction and Oceanic Magmatism Records in Plutonic Rocks of the Kamchatsky Mys Ophiolite, Eastern KamchatkaPetrology - Tập 31 - Trang 338-357 - 2023
B. A. Bazylev, M. V. Portnyagin, D. P. Savelyev, G. V. Ledneva, N. N. Kononkova
The paper presents petrographic, mineralogical, and geochemical data on dunites,
pyroxenites, peridotites, and gabbroids of the Kamchatsky Mys ophiolite. These
data were acquired to distinguish cogenetic assemblages of igneous rocks, gain
an insight into their geodynamic settings, and test various criteria of genetic
links between the different magmatic rocks of ophiolites. The ultramafic and
mafi... hiện toàn bộ
Isotopic geochronology of the archean posttectonic association of sanukitoids, syenites, and granitoids in central KareliaPetrology - Tập 14 - Trang 39-49 - 2006
E. V. Bibikova, N. A. Arestova, V. V. Ivanikov, S. Claesson, A. Yu. Petrova, O. A. Levchenkov
The U-Pb geochronological study (by the classic technique and on an ion
microprobe) of syenites from central Karelia has established their Archean age.
The age values obtained for individual massifs are 2735 ± 15 Ma for syenites
from the Sjargozero Massif and 2745 ± 10 Ma for syenite from the Khizhjarvi
Massif. The syenites are demonstrated to have been emplaced nearly synchronously
with sanukitoi... hiện toàn bộ
