quantum mechanically. Realization of classical W3 symmetry assumes the existence

We quantize a rigid particle with a rigidity term proportional to the square of
the extrinsic curvature of the particle's world-line using the Dirac-Bergmann
scheme. Problems concerning higher order derivatives and second class
constraints are avoided by using an action with an auxiliary field and one extra
gauge symmetry. We find a spectrum with integer spin states only.
