Au and PGE Determination in Geochemical Materials: Experience in Applying Spectrometric Techniques
Geochemistry International - Tập 58 - Trang 377-390 - 2020
I. V. Kubrakova, S. N. Nabiullina, O. A. Tyutyunnik
The paper systematizes methods used to determine trace concentrations (1n to 1000n ppb) of PGE and Au in geochemical materials. The methods involve various techniques of sample preparation for analysis and instrumental determination of elements. Each of the methods is briefly characterized, and the analytical possibilities of the application of the suggested approaches in solving various fundament...... hiện toàn bộ
Diamond in the Oceanic Lithosphere. Volcanic Diamonds and Diamonds in Ophiolites
Geochemistry International - Tập 59 - Trang 1-11 - 2021
E. M. Galimov, F. V. Kaminsky
Diamonds were lately identified in chromitites from ophiolites and in volcanic rocks. Although the tectonic settings of diamonds found in these rocks are different, the diamonds are identical in small size, cuboctahedral habit, sets of minor admixture elements, and isotopic characteristics. A model is suggested for their formation during various stages of a single evolutionary cycle of the oceanic...... hiện toàn bộ
Stability and phase relations of nonstoichiometric clinopyroxenes in the join diopside-Ca-Eskola component at high pressures
Geochemistry International - Tập 45 - Trang 569-579 - 2007
N. V. Surkov, Yu. G. Gartvich, O. P. Izokh
The stability of nonstoichiometric clinopyroxenes in the Di-CaEsk join was experimentally studied, and phase diagrams were constructed for this join at pressures of 2.0 and 3.0 GPa. It was found that melting in the diopside part of the join occurs at anomalously low temperatures, and nonstoichiometric clinopyroxene coexists with a phase approaching diopside in composition. Phase relations along th...... hiện toàn bộ

Petrology and Geochemistry of Acid Volcano-Plutonic Rocks from Riwasa and Nigana Areas of Neoproterozoic Malani Igneous Suite, Northwestern Peninsular India: An Understanding Approach to Magmatic Evolution
Geochemistry International - Tập 57 - Trang 645-667 - 2019
Naveen Kumar, Naresh Kumar, A. Krishnakanta Singh
This paper discusses the geochemical and petrological characteristics of acid volcano-plutonic suite of rocks exposed in Riwasa and Nigana areas of Malani Igneous Suite (MIS), Northwestern India. Geochemically, these acidic rocks having peraluminous and alkalic to alkali-calcic nature and classified as volcanic phase (Riwasa rhyolites), plutonic phase (Nigana granites) and dyke phase (micro-granit...... hiện toàn bộ

Geochemistry of Paleozoic Dolerite Dikes in the Northeastern Kola Peninsula and Their Relations to Flood-Basalt and Alkaline Magmatism
Geochemistry International - Tập 58 - Trang 887-902 - 2020
E. N. Terekhov, T. B. Bayanova, A. S. Baluev, N. B. Kuznetsov, T. F. Shcherbakova, P. A. Serov
The paper presents data on dolerite dikes in the Murmansk block in the northeastern Kola Peninsula. The dikes belong to a Middle Paleozoic flood-basalt association, which is a principal element of the large-scale plume–lithospheric process in the area of the Barents Sea. According to their geological, petrological, and geochemical features, the dolerite dikes are classified into two groups: older ...... hiện toàn bộ
Arsenic Releasing from Poly-Metallic Sulfide Deposits at Hetao Plain, China
Geochemistry International - Tập 56 - Trang 1179-1188 - 2018
Yihui Dong, Teng Ma, Jiale Li, Yue Liu
Arsenic (As)-bearing ores of poly-metallic sulfide deposits provide water-bearing medium containing As for high-As aquifer and release As in leaching process. Two ores samples M1 and M4 were collected from two big-scale poly-metallic sulfide deposits, Dongshengmiao and Tanyaokou, with As contents of 78 and 69 μg/g, respectively. Pyrite as the major mineral in ores accounts for over 70 and 20% of a...... hiện toàn bộ

Surma Basin in Northeast India is characterized by a thick Cenozoic sedimentary succession that initiated due to the collision between Indian and Burmese plates. Variability in the litho-association of a thick sedimentary column in this robust terrain represents the distribution and deposition of enormous sediments that supplied throughout the entire basin evolution, especially during the Middle M...... hiện toàn bộ
