For many years now, two‐component epoxy coatings have been used in a wide range of industrial applications, including traditional market areas such as floor paints and concrete sealers. Originally, the majority of such products were thinned with petroleum‐based solvents, but in the 1970s, Thomas Swan introduced Casamid 360, a water‐based polyaminoamide permitting significant reductions in volatile... hiện toàn bộ

Phthalocyanine compounds have their importance due to the massive utilization in various fields. Phthalocyanine blues and greens are used as pigments because of their outstanding stability to light, heat, acids and alkalis, and of course, their insolubility in water and organic solvents. They are used in printing inks, paints and plastics. Phthalocyanines are also used as catalyst in suffer oxidat... hiện toàn bộ

Luminescent and fluorescent pigments for printing inks
Emerald - Tập 10 Số 11 - Trang 13-18 - 1981
TonySmith
Luminescent pigments have the property of absorbing light which falls upon them and re‐emitting it over a period of some hours, on a different wave‐length. They should not be confused with fluorescent pigments which will only emit light whilst receiving excitation, such as visible or ultraviolet light. The colour of the emission from these pigments is independent of the type of excitation.
