We studied the status of proliferation processes (by Ki-67 expression) and biogenesis of free radicals (by chemiluminescence method) in skin biopsy specimens from patients with atopic dermatitis and lichen planus. The index of Ki-67-positive nuclei significantly (p<0.05) increased to 28.40±2.00% in patients with dermatitis and to 32.6±1.9% in patients with lichen planus vs. 8.65±1.31% in the refer...... hiện toàn bộ
Effect of functional catechol-O-methyltransferase Val158Met polymorphism on physical aggressionBulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine - Tập 145 - Trang 62-64 - 2008

Genetic and psychological analysis of the relationships between catechol-O-methyltransferase Val158Met polymorphism and various types of aggressiveness was performed in 114 women. Dispersion analysis revealed significant association of ValVal genotype with elevated physical aggression.
Testicular hypertrophy after amputation of the lower incisors in ratsBulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine - Tập 79 - Trang 450-452 - 1975

Repeated amputation of the lower incisors in rats during early postnatal development induces enlargement of the salivary glands and hypertrophy of the testes, accompanied by their more rapid differentiation. Testicular hypertrophy following this procedure is much more marked (76%) than after unilateral castration at the same age. Although repeated amputation of the lower incisors in adult animals ...... hiện toàn bộ
Morphofunctional Analysis of the Prostate Exposed to Chemical Manufacture FactorsBulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine - Tập 157 - Trang 395-400 - 2014

The structural characteristics of the prostate and the blood flow in the organ were studied in chemical plant workers suffering from chronic prostatitis. The prostate echostructure was characterized by vast zones of fibrosis and calcinosis, the hemodynamic ultrasonic parameters were low. Degenerative changes in the acinar structures and stromal fibrosis predominated in the biopsy specimens, these ...... hiện toàn bộ
