New methods of generation of electrophilic iodine in neutral and weakly acidic media

We have developed new methods to generation of electrophilic iodine on the base iodine chloride and different salts: ICl+MeX/spl rarr/I/sup +/X/sup -/+MeCl, Me=Ag/sup +/, Pb/sup +/, Na/sup +/; X=CF/sub 3/COO/sup -/, CH/sub 3/COO/sup -/. Iodinating ability of obtained reagents has been studied on aromatic (including polycyclic) and heterocyclic compounds.

Research of effect of pretilt of molecules on reorientation and optical property of the planar orientation nematic in LC-microlens

Thin structures in linear elasticity

This lecture intends to describe the asymptotic behaviour of the displacement in a linear elastic body containing either a thin non-linear elastic layer or thin reinforcing fibres, when the thinness of these layer or fibres tends to 0. The main purpose of this talk is to present the functional analysis which leads to these asymptotic results in the framework of linear elasticity.

Synthesis problem of the extremal automatic control system

This paper studies the synthesis problem of an extremal automatic control system for a nonlinear time-varying dynamic plant with the extreme output characteristic. It is shown, that under certain conditions it can be transformed to the usual stabilization task.
