Yoga Nâng Cao Các Trạng Thái Tâm Lý Tích Cực ở Những Nhạc Sĩ Trẻ Tuổi

Mặc dù yoga đã được chứng minh là một kỹ thuật khả thi để cải thiện hiệu suất của tâm trí và cơ thể, nhưng vẫn còn ít nghiên cứu tập trung vào mối quan hệ giữa yoga và các trạng thái tâm lý của sự chảy và chánh niệm. Các nhạc sĩ tham gia một chương trình học bổng kéo dài 2 tháng vào các năm 2005, 2006 và 2007 đã được mời tham gia vào một chương trình yoga và thiền. Những học viên không tham gia chương trình yoga đã được tuyển chọn riêng để làm nhóm đối chứng. Tất cả các người tham gia đã hoàn thành bảng hỏi đầu vào và bảng hỏi cuối chương trình đánh giá sự chảy, chánh niệm, tình trạng bối rối và lo âu biểu diễn âm nhạc. So với nhóm đối chứng, những người tham gia yoga đã báo cáo sự giảm đáng kể trong tình trạng bối rối và sự gia tăng sự chảy. Nhóm tham gia yoga trong mẫu năm 2006 cũng cho thấy sự gia tăng đáng kể trong điểm số phụ của chánh niệm về nhận thức.
