Chụp cộng hưởng từ toàn cơ thể (WBMRI) là một phương pháp nhanh chóng và chính xác để phát hiện và theo dõi các bệnh lý trên toàn bộ cơ thể mà không phải chịu tác động của bức xạ ion hóa. Trong số các ứng dụng tiềm năng không phải ung thư của WBMRI đang nổi lên, các bệnh lý thần kinh xương khớp đóng vai trò quan trọng. Các ứng dụng WBMRI trong thần kinh xương khớp bao gồm đánh giá viêm tủy xương mãn tính đa ổ tái phát, viêm da cơ, sốt không rõ nguyên nhân, viêm khớp, và các bệnh liên kết mô. Mục tiêu của bài tổng quan này là để cung cấp cái nhìn tổng quan về việc sử dụng WBMRI trong lĩnh vực thần kinh xương khớp.
