Các nhóm ảo và thành công trong quản lý dự án phần mềm ở một quốc gia đang phát triển: một nghiên cứu thực nghiệm

Sự toàn cầu hóa của quy trình phát triển phần mềm và việc thuê ngoài các dự án phát triển phần mềm trên toàn thế giới đã dẫn đến sự hình thành của các nhóm ảo. Các nhóm này đối mặt với nhiều thách thức do sự phân tán địa lý của các thành viên, sự khác biệt về múi giờ và sự đa dạng văn hóa. Các nhóm ảo đã trở thành một khía cạnh thiết yếu của các dự án phát triển phần mềm. Mặc dù đã có nhiều tiến bộ trong lĩnh vực này và những thách thức mà các nhóm ảo đặt ra, tỷ lệ thành công của các dự án phần mềm hiện tại vẫn tạo ra nhu cầu nghiên cứu lĩnh vực này. Một phương pháp định lượng được sử dụng để nghiên cứu phản hồi của các thành viên trong nhóm làm việc như một phần của nhóm ảo và tham gia vào các dự án phần mềm trong ngành công nghiệp CNTT Ấn Độ. Các phản hồi nhận được đã được phân tích bằng phương pháp phân tích hồi quy để đề xuất và đánh giá mô hình nghiên cứu đề xuất. Kết quả nghiên cứu chỉ ra rằng các thuộc tính của nhóm ảo, như sự tăng cường công nghệ, động lực nhóm, sự đa dạng và ra quyết định chiến lược, có tác động đáng kể đến kết quả của dự án phần mềm. Trong bối cảnh nhóm ảo, mô hình được phát triển trong nghiên cứu này sẽ là một tài nguyên quý báu cho các nhà lãnh đạo dự án để hiểu các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến sự thành công của dự án và hỗ trợ trong việc thực hiện các chính sách hướng tới các dự án phần mềm thành công. Những phát hiện của nghiên cứu này củng cố các nghiên cứu trước đó về các nhóm ảo ở các quốc gia phát triển, và các chiều kích được đánh giá trong một môi trường hoàn toàn mới cho các quốc gia đang phát triển như Ấn Độ.
