Video production for distance education

In this paper, we show the whole production procedures, transfer and delivering techniques of higher amount of data contents, like video and audio data for distance education systems. Some technological concepts and issues, related to digital video coding system of media data, are presented. In the second part of this paper a case of a special prepared video lecture for deaf people and for their tutors is presented. Two different types of a learning material within VISIOCOM project are presented - a Web interface, which includes different streaming video implementation experiments mostly for testing purposes and the final, expanded version of learning material available on CD.
