Giãn tĩnh mạch thừng tinh ở trẻ em

Phương pháp điều trị phẫu thuật giãn tĩnh mạch thừng tinh vẫn chưa đạt được kết quả mong muốn: tỷ lệ biến chứng cao liên quan đến tất cả các kỹ thuật phẫu thuật hiện đang được sử dụng. Một bơm thừng tinh có tính nâng đỡ yếu đã được mô tả là góp phần vào sinh bệnh học của giãn tĩnh mạch thừng tinh. Việc sử dụng các mũi khâu thắt chặt thừng tinh không liên tục tăng cường cấu trúc của thừng tinh, qua đó giảm kích thước của giãn tĩnh mạch thừng tinh và cải thiện việc thoát ven tinh hoàn. Đây là một kỹ thuật hiệu quả với nguy cơ thấp gây tổn thương cho các cấu trúc của thừng tinh, và do đó tỷ lệ biến chứng thấp hơn.
