Ungewöhnliche Komplikation einer Schrittmacherimplantation

Bradykarde Herzrhythmusstörungen haben ein breites Spektrum von Symptomen, welche von leichtem Schwindel bis zu rhythmogenen Synkopen reichen können. Der Herzschrittmacher stellt den Grundstein der Therapie dar und kann die Symptomatik effektiv behandeln. Trotz eines implantierten Herzschrittmachers können Patienten symptomatisch bleiben bzw. mit neuen Beschwerden konfrontiert werden. In diesem Beitrag wird der Fall einer 73-jährigen Patientin mit postoperativ neu aufgetretener Palpitation aufgrund einer sehr seltenen intraoperativen Komplikation berichtet.
