Two new species of Microlicia D. Don (Melastomataceae) from Bahia, NE Brazil

Two new species of Microlicia (Melastomataceae), M. flavovirens and M. contasensis, from the Chapada Diamantina, Bahia, Brazil are described and illustrated and their diagnostic characters discussed. Conservation assessments based on IUCN criteria are given for both species.
