Đánh giá cephalometric hai chiều về các loại nhóm con Class II khác nhau đối với không gian đường thở phía sau ở các cô gái sau vị thành niên: một nghiên cứu thí điểm

Mục đích của nghiên cứu này là so sánh các phép đo đường thở hầu họng tuyến tính của các đối tượng Class II chưa được điều trị với các mô hình mặt góc thấp, trung lập và cao, đồng thời so với một nhóm chứng Class I gồm các cô gái sau vị thành niên. Chúng tôi đã tuyển 50 cô gái sau vị thành niên tham gia vào nghiên cứu này. Nhóm Class II,1 bao gồm các đối tượng có góc ANB lớn hơn 4°. Các đối tượng được phân loại thuộc một trong ba mô hình xoay khác nhau: góc cao, trung lập và thấp. Phân tích ANOVA và kiểm định Duncan được sử dụng để xác định sự khác biệt trong và giữa các nhóm (p<0.05). Các phép đo đường thở hầu họng có sự khác biệt đáng kể (p<0.05) là nhỏ hơn trong nhóm Class II góc cao. Ngoài ra, các phép đo tuyến tính nhỏ nhất của hầu họng (ph-pph) cũng nhỏ hơn trong nhóm Class II góc cao (p=0.055). Độ dày vòm mềm (sp1-sp2) lớn hơn đáng kể (p<0.05) trong nhóm Class II góc thấp. Việc ghi nhận các phép đo đường thở nhỏ hơn chỉ ở những đối tượng Class II góc cao xác nhận mối liên hệ giữa các phép đo đường thở hầu họng và mô hình xương dọc. Tuy nhiên, chúng tôi không thể xác định rằng mối quan hệ hàm ngang có ảnh hưởng đến không gian đường thở.
