Bài báo này nhằm cung cấp hướng dẫn về việc sử dụng hai phương pháp phân tích dữ liệu khám phá, cụ thể là STATICO và COSTATIS. Cả hai kỹ thuật đã được áp dụng trong lĩnh vực phân tích dữ liệu sinh thái, và chúng tôi trình bày một khảo sát nhanh về tài liệu sinh thái liên quan đến các phương pháp phân tích ba chiều. Tại đây, chúng tôi muốn chia sẻ một số kịch bản tính toán và hiển thị đồ họa nâng cao để giúp các nhà sinh thái học sử dụng các phương pháp này.
