Tóm tắt

It appears to be generally accepted among the leaders of the country, the general public, and ordinary citizens that Russia’s system of education needs modernization. However, the population’s attitude to the final results of this reformation is different from what the reformers expect from it. This difference is revealed by the decade-plus history of monitoring polls by the Center of Sociological Studies of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. In these polls, Russians express their opinions on measures for the modernization of education, trying to understand in whose best interests these measures are being implemented.
